Roman Yaremko shared a bit about his Rotary Club in the Ukraine.  Roman shared heartbreaking pictures (see below) and what his Rotary Club has completed and currently has in progress.

We could only devote a small amount of time to Roman's initial presentation, but we will try to get him back to highlight our shared values.  This may be the beginning of something great between our two clubs.

The Rotary Club of The Woodlands kicked off its inaugural Fourth Tuesday Morning Networking Meeting with a lively 7:30 a.m. gathering at Black Walnut Café. While the early hour prompted Rotarian Patrick Reardon to arrive in pajamas, earning laughs and setting a lighthearted tone, the event proved to be more than just fun and games. Rotarians and guests engaged in spirited conversations, building camaraderie over coffee and shared stories. 

Club President Cindy Heiser welcomed attendees and introduced guest speaker Jevon Gibbs of The Woodlands Economic Development Partnership, who delivered an insightful presentation on regional growth and future development. From multilingual exchanges to reflections on family, the morning was filled with warmth, wit, and meaningful connection.

Jack Anderson joined the Interact Club at the John Cooper School as a sophomore, initially looking to fulfill community service hours for his college applications. What started as a checklist quickly turned into a passion for giving back. By his senior year, Jack had accumulated a club-record 130 service hours, leading projects from food distribution to senior center entertainment. His experience not only strengthened his commitment to service but also deepened his connections within The Woodlands. Now, as he prepares for his next chapter at The Ohio State University, Jack is eager to continue volunteering and inspiring others along the way.
