"The Lunch Bunch" (AKA They Slept Through the Monthly Breakfast Meeting Bunch) The Rotary Club of The Woodlands has been meeting every Thursday 12pm - 1pm for many, many years. There's a great core group of Rotarians who would like to continue that tradition. * This Optional "Lunch Bunch" is not a regular meeting, it's just a social event/lunch alternative for a total of 10 (including host) of current Rotary Club of The Woodlands Members Only, Sign Up is Required (see below). The lunch is hosted by a Woodlands Country Club member and each person attending is responsible for purchasing their own meal (the food is not included in the dues). The host will change each month, and his/her contact information will be shared. The current Board of Directors is hopeful this additional opportunity to meet will allow for more meeting flexibilty for all members. * A little history, in 2025-26 the President of The Rotary Club of The Woodlands, Cindy Heiser, wanted to share an alternative opportunity to visit a Rotary Club meeting besides a Thursday Luncheon (which some members find hard to attend) or first Tuesday Evening Rotary After Hours (RAH) meeting. Once a month, normally the last Thursday of the Month, a regular meeting is held at Black Walnut to allow for members and potential members an alternative. Matt Bottorff, the 2026-27 President is continuing the tradition. Meetings Open to Guests:
All information about the meeting dates and locations is presented on the front page of www.woodlandsrotary.org

Volunteers are needed for the upcoming Serving Our Seniors morning of work on Saturday, September 26, 2026. We will be partnering up with local high school Interact clubs in these efforts. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in our community and provide various services to local senior citizens in need of assistance.
Interfaith also asks that all volunteers arrive at 7:30am (on Saturday, September 26th) at the following address:
Typically the work day lasts until 10:30am, so it should not consume your entire Saturday.
Volunteers should be expected to perform projects such as:
Please let me know if you plan on attending! Interfaith is asking that all teams are pre-registered by August 28th (this should be an email to Laurie Oglesby at Interfaith letting her know that a team will be participating). If you do plan to attend, please complete the attached Volunteer Registration form and return to me before September 4th. I will be responsible for communicating the total number of volunteers back to Interfaith, so just let me know if you would like to join!.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me. I look forward to seeing you there!
