Presented @ Aug 8 Rotary by Dr. Max Morley, Nacogdoches Rotary Club. Rotary International promoted eradicating polio to World Health Organization in 1980’s & contributed hundreds of millions of dollars & millions of volunteer hours to eradication program. Polio decreased over last 15 years from 350,000+ cases to less than 350 cases/year as direct result of Rotary involvement. Polio completely eradicated from all countries of World except Nigeria, Afghanistan, India & Pakistan |
